My wife and I just purchased our first home and used Stewart and Soss as the mortgage broker.

Working with Andrew was always pleasant. Not only did he introduce us to our real estate agent (who we loved), but it was very clear that Andrew knew exactly what was going on in the market and knew how to calm the fears of first time home buyers. Overall, we couldn't be happier with Stewart and Soss.

The thing I found most impressive was that he made sure to have us get all of our information together well before when it would be needed. Without that kind of foresight, I feel like we would have run into any number of problems getting our loan funded. For people who think that it's a "better deal" to finance directly through a bank, I can assure you that it will never be as easy as if you deal with Andrew.

Above all else though, he was able to get us an excellent rate on our fixed rate mortgage. He was even on the ball when the market took that massive dip and was able to get us an even lower rate at the EXACT moment the market took a hit, which shows how dedicated he is to his clients.

I can honestly say that he was the most professional, honest, and knowledgable mortgage lender that I have dealt with in 22 years of homeownership. With all of the talk about low interest rates, we decided to look for a reputable company to do our refi with - we HATED the company that initially worked with us during our first home purchase (great realtor, horrendous loan people).  So we started our search for a company - enter YELP!  With Yelp's help, we came across Stewart & Soss!  After doing (minimal) research online (non-Yelp), and seeing where and when Andrew got his college degree, etc. (making sure his company is reputable), we gave them a call.  

From start to finish these people were a dream to deal with!  I mean, we really don't know what the heck we were talking about (realtor/loan officer verbage, etc.) but Andrew and Michelle were SO patient, kind, and helpful!  I would love to give these guys 10 stars, but alas, Yelp only has 5!
